Used Unwired modem

I have two Unwired modems which I no longer need. Are they of any use or should I dispose of them ?

You could try selling them on eBay I suppose. But they are no use to me and I doubt that vividwireless would have any need of them.

I wasn't going to ask any money for them but your idea is a good one I'll try Ebay. Cheers

Hey Hannah,

If you're looking for a 2nd-hand device, there are a few options. You mentioned eBay. I suppose you could add GumTree to that; I just looked and there are a few devices for sale there too.

Just be careful if buying 2nd-hand like that. If you get a device which happens to have an unpaid account connected with it (the former owner didn't pay his bill), then you'll probably not be able to get it connected without that bill being paid first.

One option which used to be mentioned ages ago was something to do with University bookshops? Not sure whether they are selling them any longer. I found this really old FAQ:
http://www.vividwireless.com.au/o-week-faqs

Plus you should probably be aware of this announcement from vividwireless in the last couple of weeks:
http://register.vividwireless.com.au/register-your-interest

So there is a new product coming. No details yet. But you might want to wait a bit to see the details?

Cheers,
Steve
