Noticed about the same time as this update came that our service quickly degraded.

I happen to live in the Stirling area, is this the case?

If Stirling is near Kensington, then it may have a roll on affect for those in surrounding areas, when the Kensington customers are transferred onto other towers during the outage which would cause a speed issue due to congestion at the towers.

If not, I would suggest contacting Tech Support and have them look at your connection.
