Hi Fisherman,

There is a tower in Ascot and in Mt Lawley going by the Optus Network Status map that have a problem. Due to that, customers whom normally connect to either of those towers would be transferred to the next best available tower. This could be what is now causing your problem - congestion at your tower. OR there is a problem at your tower that has not yet been identified.

Either way, I would suggest contacting Tech Support to have them look at your connection.

Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm. Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 8am to 8pm.

Click on the Outage Tab and insert your address and the towers will be displayed. If the tower is not Green, then there is a problem at that tower, by clicking on the tower icon will display what is affected and for how long.
