You would need to speak with Vividwireless to find that out. See details below.

You have checked the coverage map, hence the question. If not, check the coverage map - http://www.vividwireless.com.au/home-page

Brentwood seems to have at least some Optus 2300MHz coverage, however the vividwireless coverage checker says "no coverage" there. I am not sure why that would be. Ozzcaddy's suggestion of talking directly to vividwireless about this would be a good place to start. Maybe also ask other users on the Whirlpool forums to see if they're using LTE in the area?

Maybe the area is at capacity and they're not accepting new signups?

@Meure - "Maybe the area is at capacity and they're not accepting new signups?"
Do they do such thing? Its a good idea to stop sign ups as congestion is already taking affect for me in my area. As long as I can load YouTube and Facebook I'm fine without a full 10Mbps. Once upon a time on WiMAX I couldn't even load www.google.com... Still can't wait for NBN if it ever comes... 2018, Apparently...

@Frosty, has there been a firmware update? I logged into the main UI on my iPhone and it came up 'Firmware Upgrade Available', so I went to my Desktop and logged in on there to do the upgrade... But it says firmware is up to date, no updates available... Even on the iPhone the update notification does not appear...

Not exactly clear what you're saying. Was the firmware update notice on the iPhone, or on the web interface of the LTE modem?

I logged in on the web interface (User Interface) of the LTE modem on my iPhone through Safari and it said firmware update available. I went to my Desktop, logged into the Web Interface but on the Desktop it said no firmware update was available.

I just logged into the LTE Modem as normal via my Android phone through Chrome, and it said I had the latest update.

I guess it was a glitch if some sort. Still looking forward to the new firmware update that adds support for the USB port on the modem.

Very strange. If the issue is repeatable, then I probably ought to raise this with vividwireless to check out. As you point out, there is new firmware in the works ...

I'll let you know if this occurs again. The software update still in the works.. No further update on the release date?

No, nothing yet. I am hoping for "some time before the end of this month", however I'm a firm believer in not putting it out there until it has been thoroughly tested! If I hear of any beta testing, I'll let you know.
