Shaped 64 kbps

The vivid 64 kbps shaping seems to be alot slower than normal dial up speeds....Would vivid ever consider changing the speed to at least 1 mbps shaped? as really can do anything with the 64 kbps .most ISP shape
faster than this.

yes you are 100% right Jaxx...so with that we would like to put in a request to Vivid to look at the issue and increase the speed shaping so at least we can get by broswing all websites, as sorry 64 kbps does not do it anymore.

We hope to get a responce from vivid? Cheers

Not sure of your chances with this one. I have a Telstra NextG card at work and they also shape to 64Kbps when quota as been expended.

Frosty, would you able to put the request through and let us know what the outcome is? no harm in asking, hope they would consider. But honesty you cant do much with 64kps these days, cheers.

I haven't heard anything, no. But that's not uncommon. My email will have been forwarded on to the product development people and they'll take it into account along with all the other factors that go into making up their plans/products.
