Slow speed

I recently got vividwireless and upgraded to unlimited data. However, the download speed is quite unstable. Most of the time I got 200-300 Kbps download speed, which is considered slow. Occasionally the download speed is down to 30-40 Kbps. This is really frustrating. Is this what I am paying for at $90 a month? I live in west Sydney, only 10 km from city center.

ive had it for a while and yes it gets annoying and goes on like that constantly , I find restarting/rebooting the wireless unit helps improve the speed but is often short lived and if im on all day I may end up some times rebooting half a dozen times

There are (or have been) some outages in Sydney last 24 hours ... details in the Outages forum area or on the vividwireless website.

The rebooting issue with the LTE modem is something others have reported. There is new firmware in testing at the moment, so that always provides some hope that stability will improve longer term. Hoping the new firmware will be out soon, although the Christmas embargo period might scuttle that now.
