FAQ -- checking for Optus network faults

Q. how can I check whether there is an Optus network fault affecting my LTE service from vividwireless?

A. use the page at http://www.optus.com.au/about/network/service-status and put in your Postcode to see all the towers in your area. Those towers with a fault and/or planned work scheduled will be indicated in either Red or Amber (towers operating normally will be Green).

Hi Frosty, thanks for the info. My postcode is 2119 and the closest tower shows amber, does this mean there's a fault or planned work scheduled ?

It means Planned Work. If you click on the Amber icon it will display more information.
