Any idea when this is going to be fixed ? It actually went down on the Friday evening (25th )

The Optus network status page is showing no outages at this tower, but it did when the problem first occurred - are they still working on it ?

Received no notices as yet of the problem being fixed.

Vividwireless receives notification from Optus, and it is Optus that maintains the tower for Optus or Vividwireless.

I have posted two outages notices this morning where the outage has been resolved, but not for Kuringai at this time.

The Optus Outages page:
https://www.optus.com.au/about/network/service-status

shows a tower in RED over near Duffys Forest, so I assume that's the one referred to in the outage notification. There are also 3 other towers undergoing maintenance down near Hornsby / Wahroonga which may impact performance around the network there and push loads to other nearby towers making them slower.

No,that's new, it was Beaumont Rd in MtKuringGai. It was red on friday but went green on the status page on saturday even though there was still no service.

@russellb,

Even though Kuringai outage has now been restored, as Frosty explained in Post #4, you still may have speed issues due to fault of other nearby tower and a cascading effect of customers being moved to your tower.
