Supplied Huawei B315s-607 Modem

Do I have to use the supplied Huawei B315s-607 or can I use a third party one such as the Billion 7800 NXL which has 4G LTE capabilities?

TIA

You will need to use the supplied Huawei, as the device is registered on the Vividwireless network only.

If you try to swap the sim card into another device, it will not work as the device it has been put in to would not be registered on the Vividwireless network.

Can I buy a secondhand vivid 315s modem and get a new sim to activate it with vivid?

That is a question that you will need to ask Vividwireless.

Yes you can buy a second hand Vividwireless, not from Vividwireless. But to what I understand is that the modem and sim card are matched together on the Vividwireless network.

If you do buy a second hand modem, you should make sure there is no money owing on the account the modem was connected to. If money is owing, the modem won't be re-registered until the debt is cleared.

Not sure if you speak with Sales/Accounts or Tech Support, but this is the main number to call Vividwireless:
